To avoid interference of an exhaust pipe with a fuel system device at the time of a collision against a front part of a vehicle, while securing an underfloor space of the vehicle.

A pair of upper and lower cross members 8 and 9 are provided to hold a first exhaust pipe part 4 in the vicinity of a floor 10 of an automobile and on a rear side of the automobile of a muffler 3. The shortest distance L1 in the vertical directions between the cross members 8 and 9 is set to have a smaller value than a maximum width L2 in the vertical direction of the muffler 3. As a result, the muffler 3 is in contact with the pair of upper and lower cross members 8 and 9 and is caught by the members 8 and 9 when the muffler 3 is displaced to the rear side of the automobile. A distance L3 between parts in which the muffler 3 is caught in the cross members 8 and 9 and a part in contact with the cross members 8 and 9 in the muffler 3 in the automobile longitudinal direction at a normal time is set to have a smaller value than the shortest distance L4 in the automobile longitudinal direction between a second exhaust pipe part 5 and a side wall 6a of a fuel tank 6 at the normal time.
