Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine parts having an equivalent strength to a sintered product produced since compressed powder formed by one axis machining press etc. of metal powder is used as machine parts, thus being not required a sintering step and realized processing at a lower-temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided machine parts having pressed ring strength over 100 MPa, in which compressed powder is obtained by compression of ingredient powder comprising metal powder as main material capable of forming oxide coat, and the oxide coat is formed between particles of the metal powder of the compressed powder by vapor processing at 400 to 550°. There is provided machine parts in which the compressed powder has a compressed powder density of 5.0 to 7.6 g/cmin size measurement.EFFECT: Since processing temperature is lower than a standard sintering step, there is little size change and thus size correcting step by sizing after sintering may be deleted. Degree of freedom and easiness in product and mold is increased and energy upon processing may be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: None
