Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even unskilled person in eye inspection to easily obtain a proper prescription value by a method wherein an inspection program using a rotary prism adapted to apply the degree of the prism to the eye to be inspected is stored into a program memory means and the execution of the program is progressed to display the results of inspection.
SOLUTION: A microcomputer circuit 50 on the controller 5 side converts switch signals to various data on the basis of a control program stored in a memory 51. A microcomputer circuit 55 of a relay unit 6 sends data pertaining to refractivity and the movement of a lens unit 10 to a subjective type refractivity inspecting instrument 2 and data pertaining to a target to a target presenting device 4. A microcomputer circuit 60 of the subjective type refractivity inspecting instrument 2 drives a motor 62 to dispose a specified optical system at an inspecting window. A microcomputer circuit 70 of the target presenting device 4 turns on a lamp 72 while driving a motor 74 to project a specified inspection target onto a screen.
