Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a flaw and a stain by imaging a circular knitted fabric product in a stretched state in which a light-guiding plate is inserted and comparing its binary image obtained through image processing with a binary image of a flawless article of the same product as the above product.
SOLUTION: A finish-turn inspection tool 10 for a circular knitted fabric product is fixed on a top plate of a worktable or the like. The circular knitted fabric product such as hosiery is made to board in a stretched state on a light- guiding plate 30 fixed in a case 28 and itself radiating light by outward diffused reflection of incident light passing through a color filter and/or outward irradiation of fluorescence through absorbing light with a fluorescent substance. Multi- gray-scale image obtained by imaging the circular knitted fabric product is treated by binary coded processing and is compared with a binary image obtained by imaging and binary coded processing of a flawless article of the same product as the above detected product to detect defects such as a flaw.
