Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the restriction of the activity range of fire extinguishing equipment fitted with a self-propelling discharge device performing unmanned fire extinguishing by remote operation within a fire extinguishing area and to reduce the size and wt. of the equipment.
CONSTITUTION: Two or more water supply devices receiving the supply of water for fire extinguishing from fire pump equipment under pressure are fixedly arranged to the wall surface of a fire extinguishing area and, at the time of a fire, a self-propelling discharge device 10 is moved to the position of the water supply device arranged in the vicinity of a place where a fire occurs and the water supply port thereof is connected to the water supply device to receive water for fire extinguishing under pressure to discharge the same. The discharge device 10 controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve 16 provided to each of the water supply devices 14 having water supply ports 17.
