Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fittings for a door, particularly an entrance door, which has a handle mounting structure excellent in the property of mounting a handle, particularly a vertically-elongated bar- or plate-shaped handle, as well as in airtightness, the handle being excellent in design and opening and closing functions during use.
SOLUTION: A bar-shaped connector which an outside handle 20 has is passed through a door 11 from the outside surface of the door 11, and a handle mounting member 40 is placed on the opposite side. A disc spring is threaded from a hole in the mounting member 40 into an internal thread formed on the end of the connector to mount the mounting member 20 and the connector on the door 11. After an inside handle is placed above the mounting member 40, it is pushed down to lock the locked part of the handle with the locking part of the handle mounting member to mount the inside handle on the door 11. When the handle mounting member is installed, an airtight member such as rubber 45 is interposed between the handle mounting member and the door 11 to provide airtightness.
