Abstract:

To provide a flange for an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of reducing rotational deflection on the surface of a photoreceptor mounted on an electrophotographic applied equipment at low production cost and securing stable image quality in the case of forming an image as the electrophotographic applied equipment.

The respective fitting parts 12a and 12b of the flanges 11a and 11b formed by injection molding using industrial resin material such as polycarbonate resin are press-fit to the outside of press-fitting parts 10a provided at the outer periphery parts of both ends of the photoreceptor 10 constituted by forming a photoreceptive layer on the surface of a conductive cylindrical base substance, so that the photoreceptor 10 and the flanges 11a and 11b are coupled. Then, shaft holes 13a and 13b for inserting a supporting shaft 15 supported by the bearing of the electrophotographic applied equipment are provided at a center part coaxially with the center axis of the photoreceptor 10 and the photoreceptor 10 is mounted on the electrophotographic applied equipment, then a transmitting mechanism 14 for transmitting the rotational force such as a gear is attached to the flange 11b by integral structure injection molding as necessary.
