Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily check shading by flash light on an actual photographic image screen in ordinary flash photographing.
CONSTITUTION: This flash photographing system is composed of a camera 600 capable of transmitting a light emission control signal by flash of a built-in flash 601 and a flash device 100 capable of receiving the light emission control signal by receiving the flash by a signal receiving section 101. The flash device 100 has a test light emission mode for checking the shading of a subject by the flash and the camera 600 has an operating switch SW indicting the test light emission by the test light emission mode. A test light emission request signal is transmitted from the camera 600 by operation of the operating switch SW. The test light emission request signal is received by the flash device 100 to execute the test light emission in accordance with the preset light emission conditions of the test light emission mode. A photographer is thus able to remotely control the test light emission of the flash device 100 while viewing a finder.
