Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively separating silver and lead from a mineral slurry such as copper removal slime containing silver selenide and lead sulfide by an ore floatation.SOLUTION: There is provided a floatation separation method of silver and lead by adding a remover containing a paraffin wax to a mineral slurry containing silver selenide and lead sulfide, stirring them under heating, adding a collector and a foaming agent with stirring to form a froth containing the silver selenide, while leaving the tin sulfide in the slurry, conducting ore floatation of the froth and recovering the silver selenide and separating the lead sulfide contained in remaining ore liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
