Colored sand C1, C2 in plurality of colors are prepared, which sand is formed by mixing sand for sand core molding with colored powder that causes no change in flowability, with the colored sand of different colors filled in mold cavities from a plurality of gates 19A, 19B respectively, and with the distribution of colored sand of a molded core visually confirmed. Since the colored sand is formed by mixing the sand for sand core molding with the powder whose grain size is smaller than the average grain size of the sand, no flowability is impaired for the sand for sand core molding, making it possible to correlate with the actual filling of the sand for sand core molding.
