Title:
FLUORINE-BASE SEAMLESS FUNCTION BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3970002
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seamless function belt which is excellent in resistance stability, durability to fixation of toners, durability to repetitive bending, dimensional accuracy and fire retardance and is adequately used for an electrophotographic copying machine, printer, etc.
SOLUTION: This fluorine-base seamless function belt consists of a fluororesin composition containing 3 to 30 wt.% carbon black of ≥0.3 in the value obtained by dividing the square root of a specific surface area (m2/g) by the value of a primary particle size (nm). The volume resistivity of this composition ranges from 105 to 1014 Ω.cm and is free of the degradation in the volume resistivity determined from the change in the resistance after impression of 100 V for 10 seconds and after impression of 100 V for one hour.
