To provide a foamed wall paper obtained by forming a foaming agent-containing resin layer by extruding a resin composition containing an ethylene copolymer and calcium carbonate and forming a film of the resin composition, wherein sufficient melt tension is can be obtained without carrying out irradiation with electron irradiation prior to a foaming step, and forming good foamed state by expanding the foaming agent-containing resin layer.
The foamed wall paper having at least foamed resin layer on a paper substrate, wherein (1) the foamed resin layer is formed by forming a film of a foaming agent-containing resin layer by carrying out extrusion and film formation and then, expanding the foaming agent-containing resin layer, and (2) the foaming agent-containing resin layer contains an ethylene copolymer as a resin component and contains calcium carbonate surface-treated by a fatty acid and having an average particle diameter of 1-5 μm, in an amount of 10-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. resin component.
