Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter braking mechanism for a camera capable of braking a following driving member without providing a special braking member using the energizing force of a spring as a load.
SOLUTION: When the driving of a preceding sector group is completed to attain an exposure, the spring hanging pin 3c of a preceding driving member 3 is separated from the end part 9a of a preceding driving spring 9 and it is abutted on the pin 1r of a shutter base plate 1. The following driving member 4 is braked by pushing the end part 9a by a bent part 4d in the completion stage, to complete the driving for the exposure.
