CONSTITUTION: A "Kana" (Japanese syllabary) character candidate inputted from a monosyllabic voice recognizing device 1, and control information inputted from a control information input device 2 are accumulated in a "Kana" character and control information storage device 3, and thereafter, become a "Kana" character string provided with control information by a "Kana" character string forming device 4, and stored in a "Kana" character string storage device 6. That is to say, at the time point when inputs of a desired monosyllabic string and the control information are all ended, a user inputs input end information from the control information input device 2, and starts the "Kana" character string forming device 4. The "Kana" character candidate and the control information are received from the storage device 3, and the "Kana" character string provided with the control information is generated and outputted to a "Kana" character string storage device 5. The "Kana" character string output device 6 is started by a control part 7, and the "Kana" character string provided with the control information in the "Kana" character string storage device 5 is outputted to a "Kana"/ Chinese character converting device, etc.
