Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily stop a sliding door in a desired position in the middle way and lay it in half-opened state by only opening and closing operation by providing a stopper having a spring force for stopping the sliding door having a self- closing means in the middle of opening operation and holding it in half-opened state.
SOLUTION: A sliding door 1 has a pair of sash rollers 12 rotatably provided on a pair of brackets 11 provided in the upper part, and the sash rollers 12 are rolled while they are engaged with a rail 20 constituting a self-closing means 2 provided on a door frame 5 on the upper side. The self-closing means 2 is formed by inclining the rail 20 so that the closing end direction of the sliding door 2 is lowered to self-close the sliding door 1 by utilizing the gravity and position energy. A stopper 3 formed of a support shaft mounted on a substantially L-shaped base formed of a rigid spring and a circular spring member the base end part of which is mounted on the support shaft in freely rotatable state is provided, so that the sliding door 1 can be held in half-opened state against the self-closing force of the self-closing means 2 as it is stopped in the middle of opening and closing.
