Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably brake a heater unit.SOLUTION: A fryer 10 includes: a housing 12 having an oil tank 14 that is opened upward; and a heater unit 16 that is supported to be displaceable with respect to the housing 12 and is displaceable between a first position to arrange a heater 18 on the inner side of the oil tank 14 and a second position to arrange the heater 18 on the outer side of the oil tank 14. The fryer 10 includes brake means 68 for giving automatically adjusted resistance so as to displace the heater unit 16 at a fixed speed only when the heater unit 16 is displaced by turning from the second position to the first position.
