Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device including an injector 6 for injecting fuel toward an intake port 31 of an engine 1, and fuel pressure regulating means (for example, a fuel pump 72) for regulating the pressure (for example, delivery fuel pressure) of the fuel to be supplied to the injector 6, for suppressing the accumulation of deposit near an injection hole even when the temperature of an injector nozzle 6a becomes high after the stop of the engine.SOLUTION: The fuel injection device includes estimating means (Steps ST4, ST5) for estimating the temperature of the injector nozzle 6a after the stop of the engine 1 during the operation thereof, and fuel pressure changing means (Steps ST6-ST8) using the fuel pressure regulating means for changing the delivery fuel pressure in the state of idling operation before the stop of the engine 1 if an estimated value Tstop for the temperature of the nozzle 6a by the estimating means is not smaller than a predetermined value Tstop1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
