Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fuel injection pump making a work chamber pressure arrive at a prescribed high injection pressure in a low rotation speed and load range by preventing overload in a high rotation speed and load range.
CONSTITUTION: An adjustment piston is constituted of two parts, a first piston 20 connected to a movable part is slidably guided in a bag hole 25 of a second piston 21, the second piston restricts a work chamber 23 by its one end in a cylinder 22 and is loaded in the other side by a compression spring 24 supported in a fixed position, and the first piston 20 closes the bag hole on the side facing to the closing end. The compression spring 30 loading on the first piston 20 in its end side is arranged in the work chamber 29, the first piston is pressurized toward the stopper 31 of the second piston by the compression spring, and a pressure medium controlled its pressure by a pressure medium controller is fed to the work chamber 23 in the cylinder.
