Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal system capable of easily recovering garbage and stably supplying electric power with the recovered garbage without causing an environmental disruption and to provide a method and a device for feeding gas to a fuel cell by utilizing garbage.
SOLUTION: The garbage D generated in homes and dining halls of buildings and the garbage D conveyed from other areas are formed into a mayonnaise-like slurry which can be transported through a transportation pipe P, and the slurried garbage is fed to a gas generation section 17 through the transportation pipe P by a vacuum pump 13 via a storage section 11 to generate methane gas, and the methane gas is fed to a fuel cell 39. When a fatty component is lacking in the garbage D, the fatty component is supplemented by a fatty component supplementing device 27. The quantity of the garbage D generated in homes and areas is sharply decreased, an environmental disruption caused by the combustion and abandonment of the garbage D is reduced, and electric power can be obtained.
