To provide a methane-hydrate recovering system which is implemented in a highly economical manner.

The gas-hydrate recovering system 1 is comprised of a transportation pipe 2 and a blowing means 3. The transportation pipe 2 is penetratingly set in the sea from near the sea level to the sea bottom 14. The blowing means 3 blows compressed gas 11 generated by vaporization of a gas-hydrate transported to above the sea by the transportation pipe, to a predetermined location of the transportation pipe. According to the gas-hydrate recovering system 1, the gas hydrate is transported above the sea via the transportation pipe 2 by virtue of an air lift effect, and an ascending current is formed by gas blown by the blowing means 3, whereby the air lift effect can be maintained or accelerated.
