To provide a gas leakage alarm unit intended to improve the visibility for light from a light emitting device.
The gas leakage alarm unit includes a tapered face 20d provided between the front face 20b of a cabinet and a side face 20c orthogonal to the front face 20b, with a distance between the front face 20b and a rear face 20a opposite to the front face 20b becoming smaller as approaching the side face 20c. Further, an aperture 22 is provided on the above taper face 20d, and on the rear face side of the above aperture 22, a red color LED 21R and a blue color LED 21B are disposed. Also, there is disposed a milky-white PC board 23 for scattering the light from the red color LED 21R and the blue color LED 21B, in such a manner as to cover the aperture 22.
