Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator which is capable of subjecting a gas-liquid mixture that is sucked in a foul water tank or dust bucket and contains foul water or the like, to gas-liquid separation within the foul water tank or dust bucket, recovering the separated liquid and gas fractions and discharging only the separated air, along with a suction air stream, to the outside, while reducing scattering of the foul water, its mist, etc., over the surrounding area to a possible minimum.
SOLUTION: This gas-liquid separator is provided with: a cylindrical body 1A one end face of which is closed and the other end face of which is opened and functions as an outlet 1H and which is capable of effecting suction in the direction from the outlet 1H toward the outside; an introduction port 2 for connecting a hose or pipe 3, each used for the purpose of sucking air containing a liquid, to the cylindrical body 1A in the tangential direction to the peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 1A; and a port fringe member 5 which has a larger inner diameter than the inner diameter of the outlet port 1H of the cylindrical body 1A and is fitted to the side of the outlet port 1H and in a part of which a notch is formed.
