Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear clutch mechanism which can be operated with small drive power by using a toggle mechanism as a clutch pressure means.
SOLUTION: A fixed shaft 16 is provided in a mounting plate 3 mounted with a clutch gear 5, and the plate 3 is made swivelable with a shaft 16. The other end of the plate 3 is journalled by the other end of the second link 8. An operating shaft 11 is slide reciprocation movably inserted to a movable means 10, and one end of the first/second link 7, 8 is journalled in common to a connecting shaft 13. The other end of the link 7 is mounted turnably in a fixed shaft 17. In this constitution, an acute angle is formed in a side of a drive plate 9 of line connecting the center of a turn shaft 6 of the links 7, 8 and the center of the fixed shaft 17 in an off-condition of a clutch, and an at least 180° or more angle is formed by the two links in an on-condition of the clutch.
