Title:
GROOVE ROLLER SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF WIRE SAW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1199464
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groove roller support structure of a wire saw capable of improving cutting precision and extending longevity of a device. SOLUTION: Male tapers formed on both end parts of a groove roller are fitted on female tapers formed on head ends of a pair of spindles. At this time, a head end of the male taper 18b is devised to fit deeper than an intersection B at the time when a perpendicular dropped on a taper surface T of the female taper 58b from one point A on an inlet edge of the female taper 58b is specified as L and an intersection of the perpendicular L and the taper surface T is specified as B. Consequently, even when the groove roller 18 receives a radial load, it is structured so that a clearance is hardly produced on a connecting part of each of the tapers.
