The handheld electric power tool machine 1 includes: a rotatable tool 6 configured to rotate about a rotating shaft 8 by a driving unit 3; a protective cover 7 for at least partially covering the tool 6; a discharge opening 12 for leading out, from the protective cover 7, a material debris that comes from after machining a material to be machined by the tool 6; and a suction adapter 13 connected to the protective cover 7, and provided with a connection part 21 having a suction opening 22 connected with a suction device. The suction adapter 13 has a guide 23 for guiding the material debris. The guide 23 has a discharge opening 26 other than the suction opening 22.
