Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heading changing device for object transported, which can work well with objects having different sized over a wide range.
SOLUTION: After an arm 9 is rotated to a protruding position X, a selector valve 21 is switched to the neutral changeover position E, and a piston rod 13 is kept in the condition free to emerge and retract. In this condition, an object to be transported 2 abuts to the arm 9, which is thereby pushed by the object 2, and the piston rod 13 is pressed by an external force F in the direction of retracting. At this time, when the internal pressure of a protrusion side working chamber 18 exceeds the supply pressure of the actuating air to attain the actuation pressure, a regulator 35 is actuated to release the air in the working chamber 18 quickly to the outside from a silencer 36. Thereby the piston rod 13 is returned to the retraction side by the external force F, and the arm 9 is pushed by the object 2 and rotates 90 degree to the retracted position from the protruding position X together with the object 2.
