Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat-resistant coating composition composed of a specific aromatic polysulfone, a polyborosiloxane resin and an amide-type organic solvent at specific ratios, having excellent thermal shock resistance and suitable for the coating of an inner wall surface of a high-frequency heating apparatus, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The coating composition is produced by dissolving a composition composed of (A)10-50wt.% of an aromatic polysulfone containing the recurring unit of formula and having a reduced viscosity of 0.35-0.6dL/ measured in DMF at 30°C at a concentration of 1g/dL and (B)90-50wt.% of a polyborosiloxane resin in (C) an amide-type organic solvent such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone at a concentration of 5-30wt.%.
