Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled device capable of stopping a paper ticket at a predetermined position and printing thereon speedily, by a method wherein when a paper ticket is conveyed to a predetermined position on a conveying passage for the ticket, the ticket is positioned, a thermal stamp head and a printing table are pressed against each other and are separated from each other.

CONSTITUTION: The paper tickets K conveyed in a direction Y orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the device is stopped at the predetermined position by the action of a conveying mechanism. At this stage, a heat-sensitive transfer paper P is pushed downwards by the thermal stamp head 21, and the printing table 22 is pushed upwards to print on the ticket K. After the printing is completed, upper and lower blocks 23c, 23c' of a stamp heat contacting and separating mechanism are separated and spaced from each other by the force of a separating spring. The transfer paper P is also separated, and is fed out by a predetermined amount.
