Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus by which a problem such as variation of characteristics in a workpiece after annealing using an oil tank is difficult to occur.SOLUTION: A heat treatment apparatus includes a heat treatment furnace 1, a flame curtain formation mechanism 3, and a gas ejection mechanism 4. The heat treatment furnace 1 includes an oil tank 11 used for hardening of a workpiece and a carry-out port 12 from which the workpiece after hardening is carried out. The flame curtain formation mechanism 3 forms a flame curtain 31 that clogs the carry-out port 12 of the heat treatment furnace 1 with a flame. The gas ejection mechanism 4 sprays an inert gas to the workpiece immediately after passing the flame curtain 31 when transporting from the carry-out port 12 of the heat treatment furnace 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
