To provide a heater for a bathroom, capable of performing more comfortable heating without turning off of heating while taking a bath or failure to turn off the heating.
This heater for the bathroom includes: a circulating blower 2 circulating air in the bathroom; a hot air heater 4 heating the air from the circulating blower 2; a radiating heater 5 radiating radiation heat; a human body detection sensor 11 detecting the presence or absence of a human body; and a control section 21 which controls the hot air heater 4 and radiating heater 5 by input from the human body detection sensor 11 to thereby perform pre-bathing heating operation from an automatic operation start period until the detection of the presence of the human body by the human body sensor 11 and perform bathing heating operation when the presence of the human body is detected. When standby time for the automatic operation is set and the standby time elapses from automatic operation start, the control section 21 performs the bathing heating operation if the control section 21 receives input from the human body detection sensor 11 that detects the presence of the human body. When the human body detection sensor 11 does not detect the presence of the human body, the control section stops the bathing heating operation.
