Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing the occurrence of a bridge or blocking of a particulate matter in a heater for heating the particulate matter.SOLUTION: A heater 1 comprises: a heating hopper 20 for reserving a particulate matter 9 therein; a heating mechanism 30 for heating the particulate matter 9 reserved in the heating hopper 20; a feeding mechanism 40 for feeding the particulate matter 9 from above the heating hopper 20 into the heating hopper 20; an exhaust port 202 for discharging the particulate matter 9 from the lower portion of the heating hopper 20; and a control part 60 for controlling the operations of the heating mechanism 30 and the feeding mechanism 40. The control part 60 causes the feeding mechanism 40 to feed the particulate matter 9 in a quantity equal to or less than a first predetermined quantity to the heating hopper 20, and then stops the feed of the particulate matter 9 by the feeding mechanism 40 till a predetermined time period elapses, while performing the heating by the heating mechanism 30. As a result, the particulate matter can be reserved in the heating hopper, while heating the particulate matter 9, by the quantities of causing neither the bridge nor the blocking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
