Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater driving device controlling energization to a heater while detecting a temperature of the heater to heat a fuel in just proportion and to improve startability of an engine.SOLUTION: A heater driving device 1 controls energization to a heater 3 of a fuel heating portion 2. The energization to the heater 3 is performed by giving a gate signal to MOSFET 4 by a control circuit 5. A temperature of the heater 3 is calculated by detecting voltage between the drain and source of the MOSFET 4 by a detection circuit 6 to estimate a fuel temperature Tf. The control circuit 5 energizes the heater 3 when an ON-signal S1 of IGSW is input to estimate the fuel temperature Tf, continues heating to an upper limit set level T2 when the fuel temperature does not reach a reference set level T1, and cuts off the energization to the heater 3 when it reaches the reference set level. When the estimated fuel temperature Tf is within a range from the set level T1 to T2, it is an engine startable region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
