To provide a high pressure pump which enhances rigidity and corrosion resistance of a lid member.
A lid member 12 for blocking an opening in a cylindrical cylinder part provided to a pump body forms a damper chamber together with the cylinder part, and includes an annular peripheral edge part 50 which is overlapped with an axial direction of the cylinder part, a first dome-shaped projection 51 which axially projects from a radially inside of the peripheral edge part 50, and a second projection 52 which is provided across the peripheral edge part 50 and the first projection 51 and which projects to an outside air side further from the peripheral edge part 50 and the first projection 51. Thus, rigidity of the lid member 12 is enhanced, which leads to increase of a resonance frequency resonating to vibration of an engine, solenoid valve or the like, for instance. Noises generated from the lid member can be reduced by bringing the resonance frequency to the outside of an audible band. Since a corrosive material such as salt water, rainwater and engine cleaning water flows over an outer wall of the lid member to be hardly retained in the lid member, the corrosion resistance of the lid member can be enhanced.
