To provide a hologram recording medium provided with wavelength selection films preferable for separating recording/reproduction light and servo signal light while facilitating manufacture and its management.

The hologram recording medium comprises a recording layer 60 for recording information by interference stripe of light; a servo signal layer (a reflection layer 20 reflecting irregular shape of a substrate 10 on the surface) having positioning information of recording/reproduction in the recording layer 60; and a wavelength selection layer 40 for transmitting light (servo signal light) concerning servo signals by being provided between the recording layer 60 and the servo signal layer, and reflecting light (recording/reproduction light) concerning the recording/reproduction of the recording layer 60. The wavelength selection layer 40 comprises a high refractive index layer A in which a refractive index is larger than 2.1 in a wavelength range corresponding to the recording/reproduction light and an extinction coefficient is smaller than 1.1 in a wavelength range corresponding to the servo signal light; and a laminated film for alternately laminating a low refractive index layer and the high refractive index layer B.
