To provide a hood device for a wheel chair which can be out of use to be folded in the back of the wheel chair and can be in use to be unfolded in order to protect a wheel chair user from rain, snow, and sunlight.

This hood device comprises a plurality of frames 12-15, which are linked to each other in the order via hinges 18, 38, and 42, and can be folded to each other in the sites connected with the hinges 18, 38, and 42, so that the frames 12-15 can be exchanged into a use mode and a hold mode, wherein the frames in the use mode have a vertical part extended upwards from the back of the wheel chair 1 and a horizontal part extended horizontally forwards from the vertical part; and the frames in the hold mode are folded at the sites of the hinges 18, 38 and 42 to be held in the back of the wheel chair 1.
