Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the occurrence of roll-in of oil in an oil reservoir owing to delivery gas and to perform excellent separation of oil.
CONSTITUTION: The interior of a closed casing 1 is divided into a primary delivery space E on the motor side and a secondary space F on the opposite motor side by a compression element 3. Gas is delivered in the primary space E from a compression element 3 and fed in the secondary delivery space F through a gas passage formed in the upper part of the compression element 3. An oil passage 44 is formed in the lower part of the compression element 3. A partition plate 8 positioned facing a gas passage 43 is disposed is disposed to the compression element 3 with a given gap therebetween and an oil separation passage 9 is formed between the compression element 3 and the partition plate 8. The oil separation passage 9 is opened to the primary delivery space E and in a position separated away from the gas passage 43 and in a position higher than the height of a maximum oil level of oil stored in an oil reservoir 1a. This constitution reduces the occurrence of lifting of oil to the oil separation passage 9 owing to delivery gas and performs further excellent separation of oil by the oil separation passage 9.
