To provide a glass run assembly structure and a glass run assembly method which enables easy assembly to a flange and achieves excellent sealability.SOLUTION: In a structure of assembling door glass 10, quarter glass 300 around which a quarter weather strip 70 is provided, and a hidden type glass run 50 which covers and hides a part of a frame body 400 provided at a vehicle door 200, in which a division bar 80 is installed between the door glass 10 and the quarter glass 300, from the vehicle outer side, an inward facing engagement projection 73b is provided protruding from a vehicle inner wall 73 of the quarter weather strip 70 to the vehicle inner side. An outward facing engagement projection 53b is provided protruding from a vehicle inner side wall part 53 of a body part 51 of the glass run 50 to the vehicle outer side. The inward facing engagement projection 73b and the outward facing engagement projection 53b are engaged with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
