Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that ensures data about the amounts of components used memorized in a non-volatile memory until the data reaches an estimated amounts of the components used.SOLUTION: The image formation device comprises a plurality of cartridges, which have a non-volatile memory 7 and perform image formation, and a CPU 200 that controls rewriting of the non-volatile memory 7. The non-volatile memory 7 comprises a first group that stores data about corresponding cartridges and a second group that stores data different from the data of the first group. The CPU 200 determines whether rewriting of the data of the second group is performed or not according to the rewriting frequency of the non-volatile memory 7 calculated based on the data of the first group and the second group.
