To provide an image forming apparatus capable of performing interruption processing after setting trial printing (copying) or after printing partially.
The image forming apparatus has: a reading part to read the image of an original; an operation part to perform operation concerning image forming specication for the image of the original; an image forming part to form the image on a recording medium based on the image of the original; and a control part to control respective parts when processing that only a part of the image of the original is formed on the recording medium previously by the image forming part is set based on the instruction through the operation part so that only a part of the image of the original may be formed on the recording medium previously by the image forming part after performing interruption processing when an instruction for interruption processing is issued, and then the rest of the image of the original may be formed on the recording medium by the image forming part after performing interruption processing when the instruction for interruption processing is issued.
