Abstract:
To enable a user easily take out a sheet member and to reduce a situation that the user forgets to take it out.
The image forming apparatus (U and U') includes: image forming apparatus bodies (U1 and U1') having image holding bodies (Pk, Py, Pm, Pc and Pk') and transfer means (T1k, T1y, T1m, T1c and T1k'); paper feed means (TR1 and TR1') supported to be attached to/detached from the image forming apparatus bodies (U1 and U1'); and sheet members (Se, Sp, Se' and Sp') put between transfer areas (Q3 and Q3'), the sheet members (Se, Sp, Se' and Sp') pulled out through gaps (6 and 6') between the image forming apparatus bodies (U1 and U1') and the paper feed means (TR1 and TR1').
