PURPOSE: To provide the image synthesizing device which can synchronize and synthesize a really photographed image and a generated image obtained by a calculation.
CONSTITUTION: The device is constituted by providing an image pickup part 101 which can detect a photographing condition of zoom/iris, etc., a position detecting part 108 for executing a detection of position/direction in a three- dimensional space of the image pickup part 101, an image generating part 110 for generating an image, based on the photographing condition, the position/ direction of the image pickup part, and shape/attribute data of a three- dimensional geometric shape model, a photographed object position detecting part 105 for detecting a position of an object to be photographed, a synthetic key generating part 103 for generating key information, based on the position of the object to be photographed and a really photographed image inputted by the image pickup part, and an image synthesizing part 114 for synthesizing and outputting the really photographed image and the generated image in accordance with the synthetic key information.
