PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of the cost and the required space of a picture display device by displaying not only pictures of television broadcast and a monitor camera but also security information or the like on one picture receiver.
CONSTITUTION: The picture signal of security information or information of apparatus of life is synthesized with each video signal of television broadcast, a monitor camera, or the like by a video signal processing part 42, and the synthesized signal is sent to a coaxial cable 60, to which the picture receiver is connected, through a mixer 5. Consequently, a broadcast television channel or a monitor picture channel is designated by the button operation to display the picture of the designated channel on the picture receiver, and security information is designated by the button operation to display security information on a part of the screen of the picture receiver. Thus, only one picture receiver on the market can cope with introduction of a security system or another monitor system.
