Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "an in-vehicle voice processing unit and an in-vehicle voice processing method", which can use spoken voice appropriately either for voice recognition or for in-vehicle conversation with no need for a user to perform complicated button operations.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle voice processing unit comprises: a voice dictionary storage section 21 for storing a voice dictionary including words for voice recognition and words for in-vehicle conversation; a spoken voice determination section 12 for determining whether a spoken voice inputted from a microphone 200 corresponds to the words for voice recognition or the words for in-vehicle conversation; a voice recognition processing section 13 for performing prescribed processing as a spoken command when the spoken voice corresponds to the words for voice recognition; and an in-vehicle conversation processing section 14 for outputting the spoken voice from a speaker 300 when the spoken voice corresponds to the words for in-vehicle conversation. Execution of the spoken command or voice output to the speaker 300 is appropriately performed in accordance with a result of word determination with no need for a user to perform button operations for instructing start of voice recognition or in-vehicle conversation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
