To provide a structurally simple and operationally easy manual information display tape sticking device for sticking an information display tape for displaying, notifying and transmitting various information on the facility periphery to a handrail belt of an escalator arranged in various facilities such as a traffic facility station, a department store, a theater and a sports stadium where many and unspecified number of persons enter, gather, pass and scatter.

Interval-adjustable right-left guide rollers 14 and 16 are arranged in front and in rear of vertical parallel right-left side plates 1, and flexible front-rear rollers 21 are arranged on the same plane of its lower part, respectively. After a second operator sticks an end part of the information display tape rewound from an information display tape roll 44 liftably and rotatably installed in an upper opening guide groove 2 of the vertical parallel right-left side plates 1 to the handrail belt 74, a first operator grips front-rear parts 6 and 7 of the information display tape sticking device X, and sticks the information display tape to the handrail belt 74 by push-advancing along the stopped handrail belt 74 while descending on stairs of the escalator.
