PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility by storing connection information on an information server in the master file of a center server, sending a retrieval code to the center server from a requester which requires information, and sending information from a corresponding information server by the center server to the requester.
SOLUTION: Requesters 110 and 111 send retrieval codes to corresponding center servers 101 to 103. The center servers 101 to 103 retrieve unique codes matching the received retrieval codes from their master files to specify master records, obtain connection information on the information servers 104 to 106 from the specified master records, and sends the file names of the specified master records to the information servers 104 to 106 that the connection information indicates. The information servers 104 to 106 sends the information that the file names indicate to the corresponding center servers 101 to 103, which send the information to the requesters 110 and 111.
