To provide an information processor and an information processing system, capable of efficiently obtaining an appropriate determination result, in determination of identity of image data by comparison of a feature quantity extracted from the image data with a preliminarily registered feature value, even if the image data is changed to a layout different from that of a registered image, and a control method a program and a storage medium therefor.
An image change part 117 changes image data obtained by reading a document by a scanner device 170 to two or more different layouts of image data. A feature quantity extraction part 115 extracts respective feature quantities from the resulting image data, and the extracted two or more feature quantities are transmitted from an input and output part 121 in association with each other or transferred and stored into a memory 180. An external server or a collation part 116 performs collation of a feature quantity to be determined with a registered feature quantity. Information based on the collation result is displayed on an operation panel part 140.
