Abstract:
To provide an ink composition for an electrostatic inkjet recording system that can fix an image having a high image quality on a medium to be recorded at a low temperature and at a high speed and to provide an inkjet recording method.
The ink composition for an electrostatic inkjet recording system comprises (A) a dispersion medium, (B) a charged particle comprising at least a coloring material, (C) a charge control agent and (D) manganese octylate. The inkjet recording method comprises allowing the ink composition to fly as ink droplets by an inkjet recording system utilizing an electrostatic field.
