PURPOSE: To obtain an inspection tool for a printed wiring board which can reduce the feeler diameter of a probe and prevent it from being damaged, can punch a guide hole easily, and can make connection to a lead wire easily.

CONSTITUTION: The tool inspects a wiring circuit 71 of a printed wiring board 7 by electrical continuity and consists of a contact pin 3 which is fitted to the guide hole of a guide board 8 so that it can slide and a probe 1 which is fixed to a pin board 88. Also, the probe 1 is provided with a feeler 2 which is fitted so that it can move forward and backward elastically and the feeler 2 is allowed to contact the head part of the contact pin 3. A probe terminal 16 is provided at the other edge of the probe 1 and a terminal cap 17 which is engaged with detached is provided at a lead wire 15 which is connected to an inspection equipment 18. The tip of the contact pin 3 contacts the wiring circuit 71 for inspecting electrical continuity.
