To provide an internally illuminated display body, facilitating assembling and having superior design nature of appearance and high fastness.
The internally illuminated display body includes: upper and lower frames 2, 3; a back plate 4; corner joint members 5a, 5b connecting the upper and lower frames 2, 3 and the back plate 4 to each other; a side plate 11; a display plate 6; and a light emitting unit 30 constituted by a lighting part 9 and a light reflector 10. The upper and lower frames, the back plate and the corner joint members are formed of extruded shapes, and at least the display side end faces of the upper and lower frames and both upper and lower end faces of the back plate are provided with locking parts continuous in the shape extruding direction, and the end faces of the corner joint members connected to the upper and lower frames and the back plate, respectively, are provided with locked parts which are slid in the shape extruding direction to be locked on the locking parts of the upper and lower frames and the back plate. A pressing member 23 for pressing both ends at the longitudinal side of a bar material, respectively, to curve and deform the bar material is fitted in am opening of an insert hole formed by confronting of both hole forming grooves when the locking part and the locked part are locked.
