Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply AC power with a low voltage and a large current to a load such as an induction heating apparatus, without having to use transformers or the like.
SOLUTION: First and second pairs of switching elements consisting of each two switching elements 3a and 3b and 3c and 3d are connected in series, capacitors 2a and 2b are connected in parallel with each switching element pair. The connection point between the switching elements 3a and 3b and that between those 3c and 3d is connected to one end of a load 6 via capacitors 5a and 5b, and the connection point between the pairs of the switching elements is connected to the other. The switching elements 3a and 3c of the upper arm of each pair of the switching elements, and the switching elements 3b and 3d of the lower arm of each pair of the switching elements are tuned on and off alternately in batch.
